That dog park sure does see a lot of action.

They bring out Alex and the cardboard cutout.  It's actually a pretty good likeness and hard to tell the difference in both appearance and personality.

Alex says Bill wasn't in love with her and called it off.  Osher asks if there was anyone else and Alex pretends she doesn't want to throw Bill under the bus my implying there was but goes ahead and does it anyway.

And that's it!  

Wow they really didn't give her any more airtime than absolutely necessary.  There have been very few tweets about her too.  Their golden girl's shine wore off pretty quick IMO - Alisha gave them so much more.

Flo & Davey:

Flo appears to have - ahem - had a little *work done*.  She's looking good but completely not like herself.  Go easy there love - you don't need it.

They recap the Flo & Davey story and Osher says "none of us saw that coming".   rotfl Yeah no one, especially not the team of scriptwriters who put it together.

Flo says Davey was already seeing someone before he came into Paradise.  I'm surprised they admitted that but fits with what I guessed and I don't doubt it at all.

Davey randomly points out his gf in the audience (weird) and says he would choose her over a friendship with Flo.  Flo says, "Uhhhh... I didn't ask you to choose?"

Seems to me like Davey wanted to get some publicity for his gf and make some kind of grand romantic gesture but it came off as awkward and out of place IMO.

Flo says she wouldn't do anything differently and they both agree the chapter is closed.  She also says she's done with the show and I think that's probably best.

Osher tries to spin it like alls-well-that-ends-well but with zero couples, this season was clearly a dud.  And with that, BiP AU congas off into the distance for another year (... or perhaps forever...)

The cast are introduced one at a time and the biggest cheers go to Vanessa and Jimmy.  The first questions go to Brittney.  She's a goofball and the audience laughs.  She's still single.

Next up they get the Connor elephant out of the room.  "What happened?"  Osher asks Shannon.  "Nothing" she says.  He ghosted her - end of story.  A boring end to a boring relationship IMO.

Paddy is asked about the backlash he received for "the way he spoke to Brooke and Alisha".  He says some words which were clearly written by a PR agent so don't count for much IMO.

Vanessa is still single.  Osher asks her why and she unexpectedly gets upset.

Next they show a montage of Rachel doing Rachel things and I'm tempted to mute the stream but fortunately I don't because I get to hear her say "You get more Instagram followers if you make it to the end".  Sums her up perfectly IMO.  Bye Rachel I hope to never see you on TV again.

Nathan and Tenille come out and reveal that Nathan called it off and just wanted to be friends.  Not surprising especially considering the seemingly-legit IG comment I read yesterday about him already being in a long-term relationship (which I notice has since been conveniently deleted...).

Predictably, Ivan gets a grilling.  He's embarrassed by his behaviour and rightly so.  Dude is looking ROUGH and it seems like he hasn't slept in a while.  He was an absolute dick on the show but does seem genuinely remorseful.  Words are cheap though so only time will tell on this one I guess.

Flo informs us that after their chat last night, Davey goofed around and went to sleep on his own rather than snuggle with her. (Gotta to reassure Davey's real girlfriend that they didn't hook up, right guys? Hugesmile )

"We didn't utilise the time", Davey says, and "utilise the time" immediately becomes new favourite euphemism.  It's sure been a while since I utilised my time.  I hope I'm able to utilise my time really efficiently this weekend.

They read through their script.  Flo feels like he only sees her as a friend, Davey tries to convince her otherwise.  Flo says she's confused, Davey says he'd be devastated if she dumped him at the commitment ceremony.  The scene is set.

Next we join Bill on a balcony, bare chested, staring pensively out to sea, weighed down by thoughts of the impending commitment ceremony and the size of his enormous areola [...too much? laugh out loud]

Alex is pondering what life with Bill will look like.  Apparently it looks perfect, which is certainly a BOLD statement when you've known him for 3 weeks and have no idea where he lives, what he does, who he hangs out with etc.  

Alex arrives on a helicopter, bitching a bit more about Richie over the sound of whirring blades.  A helicopter seems OTT considering the resort is like 5 mins down the road but I presume she demanded a "helicopter clause" in her contract.

She's in love with him.  She wants him to commit.  Blah blah blah.  Ugh.  Bill stumbles over his words.  It's SUPER awkward.  I'm no fan of Bill's but the editors could easily have cut this out.  They're deliberately making him look like an idiot.

Dramatic music plays as if Bill's trying to defuse a bomb before it explodes.  He eventually spits out those three magic words: "I love you".  Satisfied, Alex pops a commitment ring out from where the sun don't shine and seals the deal.

Alisha certainly has a way with words.  Having worked as a media advisor for a politician, I would have expected her to be the least genuine person in Paradise, and yet, she was IMO the ONLY person there with real feels.  

She has carried the whole season, and I shudder to think what they would have done without her.  If I could be bothered, I'd calculate how much of the narration/ITMs came out of her mouth.  She's the Season 2 MVP for sure.

Alisha tells Jules she's done and walks off to give her post-dump debrief to camera.  Just as she's saying she should have hit up Canadian Daniel and asking when the next flight to Vancouver leaves, up rocks Jules.  laugh out loud

He's confused and wants to clarify whether Alisha will continue to see him when they leave.  "HELL NO!"  she replies and I don't believe her for one second because I've been that girl and sayin' it is a lot easier than doin' it.

... which suggests to me that Flo rejects Davey at the commitment ceremony as per the spoiler going around, and that Jules and Alisha probably also leave separately.

The word on the street from people who attended the reunion is that there's still "something" between Alisha & Jules, but it might just be Alisha holding a candle...

Anyway, I'm ready for this show to be DONE.  Bring on the finale!

ETA: OK wow I just read something that makes me think Jules may have pursued Tenille post-show.  We were promised a surprise at the reunion, and Jules & Tenille being together now would certainly tick that box...

Oh and I also spotted a very interesting IG post claiming that Nathan is in a relationship (and has been since before filming Ali's season) which would actually explain a lot, but at this point I'm not even going to go there.  laugh out loud

Hannah, who I have already decided is the most articulate and intelligent person to have ever appeared on this show, says she's "finding it a bit hard to unpack what he's saying".  Very diplomatic.

Jules flounders.  He says he has no idea where they're at or where he wants to go from here.  He's now at a CROSSROAD OF AMBIGUITY!   rofl Mate, you need to just drop that word from your vocabulary entirely.

Meanwhile, Alisha is hanging with Hot Jimmy.  She tells Hot Jimmy about the Umbrella.  Hot Jimmy laughs and says "how long has he been working on that one?"  I get the feeling he knows Jules well.

After the break we find out that the guy is Bill's brother.  Alex is talking in code about "charmers" with the combined objectives of throwing Bill under the bus whilst also slanging Richie off and I agree with @Dirty Street Pie that these were shot in AU, post-Bill-breakup, IMO.

OK, here we go with ep 12:


We open with Zoe deciding she's going to pash Mack. Just like that. I have to check to make sure I haven't missed an episode considering yesterday she said he did nothing for her.

But no, apparently she just wants to have a crack. She corners him at the bar. TPTB chuck $50 at some busker to play the riff from a soft porn flick on his bass guitar, and they go for it.

The next day, Mack is waxing lyrical about the kiss as if it was a scene from Shakespearean play. Zoe on the other hand says "we kissed - still no chemistry - now we know". I do love a straight talker.

Tenille says Nathan only wants to kiss on camera. With Ivan and Nathan she's gone from one extreme to the other. She is concerned Nathan's not really into her and just wants to get to the end.

Flo says Davey is immature and she can't see them being in a serious relationship. They're setting the scene for Davey to "man up" at the finale and want to commit, only for Flo to reject him, IMO.

Osher rocks up. He tells them no more RCs, you can either leave now or stay to the commitment ceremonies. And if you stay, your friends/family get some free exposure by appearing on the show.

There's no way Alexnation is missing out on extra airtime so of course she Bill are staying. Mack & Zoe have no spark, so they get the boot. Nathan and Tenille stay, as foretold by Sportsbet.

Jules and Alisha chat. Alisha is clearly invested and vulnerable. Jules basically describes their relationship as friends with benefits. Rolling Eyes He seems totally freaked out, but they decide to stay.

Flo and Davey stay. He says he's scared to lose her. TPTB know where this is headed. :stirthepot There's no way Ch 10 are flying out family members from the US, so USAlex & Caroline "decide" to leave.
