Ashley and J.P.'s love story has come full circle at last. Ashley began by being one of the favorites to capture Brad Womack's heart on the 15th edition of "The Bachelor" in early 2010 and narrowly missing her goal of finding a future husband. She got her second opportunity to find love on the seventh edition of The Bachelorette, after determining to find balance between her career and personal life. However, her search for "Mr. Right" had to survive a shocking and emotionally taxing journey. Initially Ashley's own sister even had her doubts about J.P., but all was quickly forgiven. Finally, Ashley got her fairytale happy ending as she gave J.P. her final rose and he proposed. Since then they have been inseparable. Ashley, 28, graduated from dental school at the University of Pennsylvania and is currently completing a specialty in pediatric dentistry at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. J.P., 35, continues as a successful construction manager in New York City. Now they're really ready to begin their life as man and wife and to have a family of their own.

It’s official: Bachelorette star Ashley Hebert and her fiancé J.P. Rosenbaum tied the knot Saturday afternoon in Pasadena, Calif.

Surrounded by family, friends and fellow Bachelor and Bachelorette alumni like Ali Fedotowsky, Emily Maynard, and Jason and Molly Mesnick, the couple said "I do" in an outdoor ceremony officiated franchise host Chris Harrison.

"Today is all about our friends and family," Hebert, whose nuptials will air Dec. 16 on a two-hour special on ABC, tells PEOPLE. "It's about standing with J.P., looking around at all the people we love in the same room there to celebrate our love."

The 28-year-old dentist from Madawaska, Maine, met New York construction manager Rosenbaum, 35, on season 7 of The Bachelorette. The couple became engaged on the season finale.

Hebert and Rosenbaum are the second couple in the franchise's 24 seasons to make it from their shows' finale to the altar, following in the footsteps of Bachelorette Trista Rehn, who married Vail, Colo., firefighter Ryan Sutter in 2003.

Ashley Hebert went on ABC’s The Bachelorette in 2011 hoping to find a fairy-tale romance...and she did! On Dec. 1, the reality star married JP Rosenbaum at the Langham Hotel, located at the base of the picturesque San Gabriel Mountains in Pasadena, Calif.

“Ashley looked gorgeous walking down the aisle!” a guest at the wedding tells Life & Style. “They seemed so happy and in love.”

The happy couple exchanged heartfelt vows in front of about 300 family members and friends, including fellow stars from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, namely Sean Lowe, Molly and Jason Mesnick, Ryan and Trista Sutter, Emily Maynard, Jillian Harris, and former couple Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez. Host Chris Harrison, who first introduced the newlyweds on the air, officiated the ceremony.

The couple’s romantic road to the altar began when JP proposed at sunset on a private island in Fiji in May 2011. After the gorgeous ceremony, the couple will return to their home in Princeton, N.J., and look forward to their next chapter together.

“She'll be the best mom ever,” JP has said of Ashley. “She's very maternal.”

The second time was definitely the charm for Ashley Hebert.

The Bachelor castoff turned lucky-in-love Bachelorette married J.P. Rosenbaum today in Pasadena, Calif., E! News reports, about a year and a half after the world watched J.P. get down on one knee and pop the question, not even knowing—as the name of the game dictates—if Ashley would accept!

But he was the one Ashley was waiting for, and she gladly accepted the 3.5-carat Neil Lane diamond ring he offered to seal the deal.

Flashforward to the big day: "Today is all about our friends and family," Hebert told People. "It's about standing with J.P., looking around at all the people we love in the same room there to celebrate our love."

Chris Harrison, the voice of reason amid all the Bachelorette drama, officiated the ceremony—and he'll host the couple's wedding special, airing Dec. 16 on ABC. A source tells E!, among the 200-some guests in the crowd were some familiar faces, including Bachelor/Bachelorette vets Ali Fedotowsky, Emily Maynard, and Jason and Molly Mesnick, and Jillian Harris as well as upcoming Bachelor Sean Lowe.

A source tells E!, the couple, who had a Jewish ceremony under a chuppah, kept things gorgeous with roses in shades of white ivory and pink, complete with two wedding cakes including one with a cake topper of the couple with—yes—Ashley giving J.P. a final red rose!

The bride made her way to I do by walking down a wood-planked aisle to a piano rendition of "I Can't Help Falling In Love With You." The romantic ceremony ended with cheer, while guests threw confetti and rose petals.

In successfully swapping vows, Ashley and J.P. didn't make history, but they certainly bucked a trend. Their nuptials are only the fourth to arise from the entire Bed, Bachelor & Beyond franchise, and, after Trista and Ryan Sutter, they're only the second couple to tie the knot after getting engaged on the season finale of The Bachelorette. (No one has achieved such a feat on The Bachelor yet.)

Expectant parents Jason and Molly Mesnick (he was engaged to Melissa Rycroft first, remember?) and Blake Julian and Holly Durst, who met on Bachelor Pad, are the other two couples holding up their end of the argument that finding lasting love on these shows is a possibility.

"We've got nothing but good things ahead," J.P. told E! News after they were finally able to go public. "We're not worried about the odds."

And while it would have been something had they rode off into their future in a chauffeured Bentley, we're gonna bet they went with a less flashy mode of transportation. (Though we'll find out for sure on Dec. 16, when The Bachelorette: Ashley and J.P.'s Wedding tells all.)

Their proposal was one of the most tender and romantic in television history, so it’s only fitting that the Dec. 1 nuptials of Bachelorette Season 7 stars Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena was equally personal, intimate and, above all, filled with love. Now, Wetpaint Entertainment has exclusive details on the couple’s big day.

The first — and, as far as the bride is concerned — most important detail: her dress. Although Ashley had said in the past her dress would not be white, she ended up in a gorgeous strapless white gown with a very long train. So long, in fact, that after the ceremony, JP had to lift her up to help her get down off the stage where they had exchanged vows.

Speaking of the stage, the bride, groom and officiant Chris Harrison all stood under a chuppah, a nod to JP’s Jewish heritage. Both Ashley and JP’s mom also performed a Celtic knot ceremony in which they tied knots binding their children’s wrists before saying a prayer.

“Their prayer had everyone in tears,” a guest tells Wetpaint Entertainment. “It was so heartfelt.”

As expected, JP’s best man was his brother, Roy, while Ashley’s maid of honor was her sister, Chrystie. Her former Bachelor co-star Ashley Spivey was a bridesmaid while Ashley’s brother stood up for the groom. The couple’s dog, Boo, had a seat on the front row.

The best part of the ceremony, according to the guest, was the couple’s palpable love for each other. “They came really close to kissing several times during the ceremony,” the guest explains. “But they were able to wait… barely… until they were pronounced man and wife.”

Another plus? Rain, which had been drizzling all morning, cleared up in the moments before Ashley began her walk down the aisle. Says the guest, “Everyone put their umbrellas away and was able to enjoy the ceremony in the sunshine.”

After that, it was party time. Ashley and JP’s first dance: “Fools Rush In.” Sweet and apropos, considering how they met, no?

Guests dined on chicken with English peas and mashed potatoes with a separate, vegetarian option of beets and risotto.

After dancing their nights away, the crowd cheered as the newly-minted Mr. and Mrs. Rosenbaum headed out for the night… and into their future.
