Technical Questions - How do you...?

I'm trying to insert a picture from Instagram, and it isn't working.  I tried to hit the "Insert Image" button, but I'm just getting a little blue question mark instead of the image.  I tried it with other Instagram pictures too, but none of them are working.  I also tried hosting the picture, but that didn't work.  I was searching for how to do this, but I haven't found it...can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?  Thanks!

Take out any smilies/emoji's
In the first line of the code, you can reduce both 100% to 50%
Copy the whole code

Paste it right here in the reply box. Hit send.

I prefer to open the IG picture. Right click, view page source, hit ctrl F - type jpg - the first highlighted jpg is the IG pic. copy the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] until .jpg

Paste that in the image icon.
Copy the comments and paste under the pic
Copy the link for the soure and paste it under the pic

The other method doesn't post the comments. I prefer to see the pic and the comments. You can always add the comments under the pic using the other method.

Thanks, GA!  I'm working on it now.  It didn't work in Safari, but it does in Chrome.  I'm going to play with it a couple of minutes.

I was able to do both methods up to here. Other than just copying & pasting from the Instagram page (like I did in my first attempt), how do I copy the comments and paste them under the picture? When I looked at the source code, there was a lot of formatting in the area of the comments. Thank you!

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] You did it! I find Chrome much easier to work with for many things compared to Firefox. There are some good extensions for IG as well. I don't have Safari.

For the comments, highlight the comments, right click, copy, like you would for anything else, paste them under the pic, take out the emoji's. It's not done from the source page.

RE:  Accessing the forum through iPad

I normally use "web view" on my iPad but suddenly the ad at the top of the page is blocking the top posts. The square ad has re-positioned lower and blocking either my log in and/or the first post. I have deleted history of web sites and apps, added an ad blocker and it is not removing the ad.  

Any suggestions?

To those who are experiencing this annoying ad interference:

Log out using the "Log out" tab at the top of the page under the banner. Ensure whatever method you use, clear cookies and history, and try coming back the to forum.

Please let me know if it works.
