A bit OT: Elan's good friend James Gunn was fired from directing Guardians of the Galaxy 3 over disturbing tweets in the past. Guessing Elan won't be reprising his background character in the next film.

All IMO: I've always found both of them creepy (the lawsuit against Elan--is there any news on that?--didn't surprise me), so their friendship made sense. What I don't get is how Amanda Seyfried and her husband, Thomas Sadoski, who seem like very good people, are friends with Elan.

Thanks for mentioning this.  Elan mentally manipulates others as most of the Bach producers do, IMO.  It’s incredibly creepy to me.  They learned well from the king of creepdom, MF.

I’m not sure where the lawsuit stands, but TPTB seems to have effectively squashed media coverage of it.  I hope the brave woman who spoke out has received support and positive reinforcement.

I like Elan. He’s definitely not perfect but I believe there’s a reason that a lot of the cast keep in touch with him.
