Most of the dance order isn't surprising to me except I was a little surprised at first by Kellie and Derek going first, I thought they might save her for the second half since I think she's going to surprise people by how well she does. The first dance of the night tends to get underscored but we'll see. They do like to open the season with someone strong but not necessarily the best of the night.

The two prime slots went to Zendaya (top of the second hour) and Jacoby which means the show must have high expectations for them. Victor dancing 2nd is not a good slot at all imo, and his fanbase strength is questionable so he really needs to do something to stand out tonight if he wants to have longevity this season. Sean being in the second hour is a better timeslot than the first (there are usually more viewers in the second hour) but I would not want to be dancing in between Zendaya and Aly. laugh out loud

Loved the GMA piece this morning too.

Sean has said and I agree with him that he is not a great dancer. Good enough for his wedding, I'm sure. He should be there for awhile since there are some that are worse then he is.
I was impressed with some of them, Wow grt dancers especially for night 1.

Me too! That was my top 3, although Kellie I would put in my list of faves tonight too. She danced first though so her routine doesn't stick in my memory as well as the other 3.

I'm surprised at how much I liked the partner chemistry between Zendaya and Val considering I was initially shocked that they paired him with a 16 year old and he was the last person I would have expected to get her, plus she looked taller than him in the first interviews I saw of them together. giggling But they looked really great out there together. Ingo and Kym were another pair that had amazing chemistry on the dancefloor imo. Yay for Team Aussie!
