I'm wondering if Ottawadeb is able to make her way to Gatineau?

We got to leave at 6:00 pm and took me 4 hours to get home.

There was bus waiting for us downstairs that brought us all behind the Rideau Centre on McKenzie Bridge we then had to get a shuttle that cross the bridge to the Quebec side and wait for our regular bus there.

Of all days not to bring your lunch, thanks to a colleague who had her's shared with 4 of us. A day I will never forget for sure.

Oh deb so sorry to hear all that but very glad you finally got home.

We were sadden to hear the soldier was from near my area. 24 yr old handsome guy who was training to be a border guard security. Such a horrible situation for everyone, especially his family.

That's so sad about the young soldier. I was interested to read that the sergeant-at-arms who shot & killed the gunman, a hero, is from Miramichi, NB. My dh's parents were born there and he still has family there.

So dam sad!!! What idiots, it blows my mind that people can be brainwashed in the way that these people are over the internet. I was away for a couple of days so we didn't get this news until we saw a TV!! Yesterday morning having breakfast in the hotel, the TV was on and everyone was glued to the TV and that included people that are here travelling from other countries. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of these innocent men.

I'm watching the procession from Ottawa to Hamilton which is around a 6-7 hour drive, and will be driving down The Highway of Hero's very soon, they are almost arriving in Hamilton. There are people everywhere on the overpasses, dressed in red. The broadcaster interviewing some of the people, made a point to say there are so many people who brought their dogs.

So respectful when cars pull over for a funeral procession. We do that in our area for any funeral as well.
