I think they separated for a few months, they never made a statement about it, so it's assumption based on their SM postings. I do remember Nikki wasn't wearing her rings in a few of her IG posts. Then one day they were back together, glad they worked things out.

Nikki and Tyler had their baby! River Thomas Vanloo, born 11/15. Sounds like it wasn't an easy delivery but everything seems okay now!
