I didn't have a problem with Sean doing it nor would I mind if Chris did it. It's his life. I'd think it be easier to do if Becca is his F1 though.

Every contestant on the show has already proven that they are adventurous. Whitney is very employable and she doesn't have to worry, she can get a job anywhere. Why shouldn't they both embark on a great adventure. The only people that were really worried that Sean was having an affair with his dance partner were Second rate gossips. It was completely laughable. At least in Chris's case he can come home at night and make sweet love to his F1 whoever she is.

Maybe Chris agreed to do DWTS just for the fun of it, I mean lets face it, this opportunity isn't going to happen ever again, so why not just enjoy it and have a good time? Chris has absolutely zero interest in Hollywood life or promoting himself so heck, why not do it?

You bring up a good point. ^^
If he views that as fun, I can see doing it. There probably is not a lot of new, adventure in Arlington. So if this is his idea of "fun", ok.
I would view it as torture. I heard the prep is torturous and is ongoing daily until your part with the show is over. I think there have been quite a few injuries from practice alone.

^^^He might hope he'll only last 3 weeks! If he needed to dance all the way to the end, there would be a problem with the beginning of planting season- and I don't see him missing that again (he did while filming the b-ette). Either that or he's found good/trustworthy management to take his place.

Also, the fact that he's doing DWTS and he isn't there to promote anything makes me say "go for it" even more! He doesn't need the money and isn't there to further his career in the lime light... He apparently likes to dance, so why wouldn't he take the opportunity if it's presented to him.

I think if Chris is doing DWTS, he is doing it strictly for the fun. He likes to have a good time and this is just something new for him. I doubt he expects to last, but I can see him enjoying it for as long as it does. I don't know about his dancing, but I bet listening to him in practice would be a hoot.

Sean did say in his book that the DWTS period of his life was very trying on his relationship with Catherine. He said that the lack of time spent with Catherine caused her to threaten to go back to Seattle, loud fights he thought the neighbors would hear etc. No affair threats, but evidently Sean spending all day in such close proximity with another women was a real strain on the relationship. Sorry I'm posting so late in response- just catching up on reading after work!!
