They will always be my number 1 couple!
Trista was very smart to know what she needed and wanted and chose a man that’s so genuine and lovely!
It’s love stories like this that I can’t stop watching and following this show…

This is when the show was about genuine relationships, love, happiness and finding your longtime partner. All before the schilling and IG INfluencer lifestyle.

Trista & Ryan are the true ultimate goal and what the show should really be about and not what it has become.

I wish them both many more decades of happiness, JOY and love together.    

I admire them for making it work - there was a lot of pressure on them to be the first successful couple. And they were rewarded with the OTT pink wedding! That show was the first one I saw with them. It made me wish I had watched their season. But what I remember from those earlier seasons was how long they were - it seemed like many of the one-on-one dates involved a plane trip somewhere. Especially pandemic-filmed shows seem so short now.

Their kids are so grown up now! It's hard to believe that her season was so long ago! I remember that we were living in an apartment waiting for our house to be built so my husband was forced to watch or at least be in the room when they televised the wedding.

Trista's season was actually fairly short in comparison to now, @Norcalgal. There were only 6 episodes and the MTA plus the episodes were only 1 hr back then. They probably didn't waste as much time back then as they do now, though.
