Nick may have gone to Chicago for a short visit. From what I can tell he is currently spending most of his time in LA. The @afterbuzztv twitter account says they're located in Hollywood, CA

Totally agree. Let's all be positive.
No matter what his special project is, I hope to read more of his writing on his website. He hasn't updated it for a while.
