Who knows maybe Ben's mother told Lauren when they spoke. I get the feeling their family is very upfront about things. I assume they have at least spoken on the phone with each other. She knew it was taped so if I was her I'd tell her and say how happy she is that Lauren makes Ben happy.

Ben's mom probably saw a more relaxed Ben with JoJo, but I think for him, he was nervous about how they perceived Lauren because more was riding on what they thought of her. She's his pick. IMO Am I making sense?

No wonder Ben looked so conflicted. If his mother picked Lauren it would've been a no brainer for Ben to pick her.

Yes! & from my past experiences my bf's sister didn't like me at first and that only made my bf more fond of me. Kind of like protecting me from their dislike because he saw what they didnt see yet.

I'd have to agree with you. His face while his mom was talking just looked gutted to me..like he wanted her to be saying those things about Lauren instead. I'm soo looking forward to Monday & seeing how this whole mess plays out. I still think he chooses Lauren but man they are doing a good job with "doubts" this year!!

I'm sure Ben's parents will be in the audience at the ATFR and mama Higgins will sing Lauren's praises. Just like Ashley's sister with JP.

His parents only spent a couple hours with both girls. JoJo is extroverted, Lauren is introverted and more reserved. It's easy to see how JoJo could shine in that situation. His mom never said anything badly about Lauren- just that JoJo was more her taste based on what she knew "right now."

At the end of the day, you just want your kids to be happy. If Ben is happy and over the moon with Lauren- his mom will love her. And the best part about this is that it totally negates that silly tabloid rumor that his mom picked F1 for him! Ya! Wonder how much else is BS? I think that mom picked F1 rumor came from the same article that said Ben was even waffling back and forth the day of the FRC. I hope that's BS too. Wouldn't surprise me. I bet there was less indecision than TPTB want us to believe.

One last thought. Ben's mom probably saw the HTD episode and completely changed her tune. The Higgins fit right in with the Bushnell's. With that reality tv family, Keeping up with The Fletchers?! Not. No way. Ben's mom didn't have all the information!

100% this. Plus JoJo had less on the line too. I don't believe she is as invested in Ben as Lauren. Plus, JoJo is naturally extroverted and a people person. Lauren is reserved and more introverted. It's easy to see how JoJo could shine.

i do love that the only clip we have seen from abc happens to be that clip.

Cila, as I said earlier its eyes and your mind playing trick on you. See how happy Ben talking about his fiancée recently. We can only wait AFTR to chill you mind. 

Guys, what about the said that Ben actually secretly bring Lauren back to Warsaw? I believe I saw someone posted about it somewhere in this forum. I cannot recall.
