OT, I was at the Munich stadium in 1972 right before the massacre at the games and at the Atlanta Olympic plaza a few days before the shooting there.  My boss was going to the London games a few years ago and begged me not to go anywhere nearby.

Have you ever had the police come to your house?  Years ago my phone line was messed up and it kept sending out a 911 call.  Had LAPD here at 3 am, again at 6 am and then about 5pm even though once the phone company finally opened and I was able to report it.  The first time LAPD came with with two patrol cars and four officers with guns drawn...searched the entire house and yard.  I was mortified, but safe.

Yes. Last September I had a break-in while I was home!! (I don't answer the door, especially when I saw the guy standing there.) Long story but I called 911 and locked myself in the bathroom. We had seven police cars, a helicopter, a police dog and three detectives. Broken glass everywhere. The perp fled when he heard the commotion and nothing was taken and I was not hurt. Got an alarm system shortly thereafter.

Yikes, that is scary.

Not really PTSD, but sleep problems after the Northridge quake.

Have you ever had insomnia?

No (but it was more like ptsd. After a car accident I kept getting flashbacks of the car hitting me and it was all in slow motion.

Yes. My boss went away for a company-sponsored trip for a week. I was her only employee. I had to go in and run the office with a roaring case of the flu.
