Reasons To Try To Get Out of a Speeding Ticket

Getting pulled over on a freeway.

Cop: do you know why I pulled you over?

Reply: Because I was going the slowest and was the easiest to catch ?

My mom's friend did well getting out of tickets back in the day.

1. She started crying immediately and he let her off with a warning.

2. She said: "But officer, I was following a car who was going 30 so I had to go 60 to pass him." He started laughing and also let her off with a warning.

My son " I am from Alberta. Speed limits are a lot higher there, forgot!

My son: The cops in Pennsylvania are idiots. I talked him out of a ticket very quickly.

Sorry, I'm used to driving in kilometers not miles.

I'm on my way to my mechanic because my speedometer has been acting wonky on me.

Officer, I had no idea I was speeding. Really.

But officer, I was just following you and didn't realize you had sped up. (after he pulled over and got behind me. seriously a blonde moment.)

Everyone else was going 70 mph in a 55 mph zone. Why did you decide to pick on me?

Sorry sir I didn't realize I was speeding - I was just keeping the same distance between me and the car in front of me.  Got the ticket anyway.
