The thing with Brittany happened 2 years ago and he hadn't had a serious gf since then. It could very well be that he realized he wasn't ready for a relationship and needed to work on a few things, to get his life back on track. He himself said that it was a bad time in his life and he was lashing out on everyone. It is hard to walk away from a dream and move on.
The guy I'm seeing post show is someone who barely uses sm or promotes himself (during the show as well), it contradicts with people saying he's only is there because he wants fame. I see a guy who is working working (not shilling). He did work while the show was airing and he is working now. I also see a guy who moved for his fiancée as opposed to the last time when the girl moved for him. I don't know how he was back then but if those things said about him are true then I see a changed man. And a person can change in 2 years.

I don't think Jo would freak out on him for a few reasons:

1) I doubt she's even seen these posts: she's fiercely loyal and protective and even looking at them is saying a part of her distrusts him, which isn't the way to a healthy forever relationships and after ChadR, I think she knows that, which leads me to #2--

2) Jo has been in a messed up relationship so those dynamics of wanting to be together, not wanting to be together, breaking up/making up, overall general toxicity, are nothing new to her. So I think she could easily understand and relate to it if Baddy explains that they were terrible together, he was the worst version of himself and this is what it was.

3) We typically judge people by how we know them when we first met them, first impressions and all, and Jo's first impressions of the guy is who he is with her now, she didn't know him back then. I imagine it's hard for her to imagine and reconcile her current, existing, very alive and in her bed shirtless boyfriend as someone else, like the guy that responds in annoyed one word answers to his gf over text. Especially because HER boyfriend is doting, loving and always there for her. It's like two different people for her imo so I doubt she can even see him as Brittany's bad boyfriend. Nor do I think she even wants to see it or imagine it.

You could be right Alanna. Jordan admitted during the show that Jo challenged him and made him a better version of himself. A lot could change in the past 2 years. Before, he was struggling with his football career whereas now he is ready for a new chapter in his life. A career in broadcasting and a new life in Dallas with his fiancé. If the EX is following them on social media especially snap chats she could have seen how different he is with Jo. I'm speculating that this could be one of the trigger points that made her lash out, wondering how he could be this open, caring and loving with Jo. And she might also want this version for herself .
