TOG best be thanking his lucky star he did not end up with lush.  Shawn I dont particular like him but I feel sorry for him, being with an intellectual challenge woman.  Just saying IMO.


@sprite I have thought that way too and now it is seeming more clearly that is what happen.

I don't think Shawn will be leaving her anytime soon. She talked about how Shawn is very loyal and he's only been in one other serious relation before this that lasted 6 years. I don't thinks "Shawn" is a "josh" at all and I don't really believe they are having any problems beyond the normal couple arguments. I think the problems are all her own. IMO.

I'm just very, very skeptical of internet comments . Could be true. Could be an internet troll.

My opinion is that Kaitlyn has aged in dog years since her season. The drinking is taking a toll physically and if it continues, that relationship will have to end. Shawn will have to escape with his life at some point. I hope it doesn't come to that though.

It's exhausting to live with and love a partner with addiction issues. Hard on even the most loving and loyal partners. If she actually has an addiction that is.

I do think Shawn is loyal and obviously cares for her, but that doesn't mean that at some point he won't have enough. Nothing to do with Josh. I don't doubt that they have the normal arguments that every couple has, I just think that her drinking could exacerbate everything. This is particularly true if his business is based on healthy living. Never was a big fan of his, but I feel sorry for him because I bet she is hard to live with.

Honestly, it didn't sound like a troll. The person asked some other questions and this info was just tossed in there at the end. They didn't seem to be pushing any kind of agenda and they asked if he had heard anything. If they were an internet troll, they would be the subtlest internet troll I have ever come across.

I just mentioned the josh thing because the comparison was jokingly made in a prior post. When I watched the show, I thought Shawn was josh 2.0 and he really surprised me by being a good guy.

I agree that Shawn would leave her if the drinking got bad enough. I just have a feeling he'll stick by her, as I do think the drinking and appearance changes are just a result of other issues that will stop once she gets some therapy and works on herself. I don't get the feeling that he's done with her from their snaps and I usually am pretty good at sensing signs of trouble. IMO.

If I may ask, what other kind of issues do you think she has...other than being a spoiled, self absorbed brat? I agree that she probably needs therapy, but first one must admit that there is a problem and I am definitely not getting that she is at that point. She still thinks that people are out to shame her and that she is right and everyone else is wrong.

She will not seek out help, surrender, or try to change until she realizes she has hit her bottom, that her life is out of control and unmanageable.

I don't only blame kaitlyn. I don't know if it shared here or not. couple of months ago shawn got in a fight with a very young girl in Nashville(she was 16 or something), and she shared a photo on Instagram about it.Also another time that shawn got in a fight in a bar during his sisters birthday last year. So i don't really blame kaitlyn for everything. They both have their issues.
