Yes that we have sleuthed.

For the most part yes. There is no reason IMo to be zigzagging everywhere. You can book flights pretty much from point A to point B, plus it saves on timing.

Hmm... well all the flights Miami-Baltimore, Denver-Baltimore, Dallas-Baltimore, Madison- Baltimore are all between 2:30-3:50 flight hours so maybe it didn't matter and came down to the family/location logistics?

What was the sequence for JoJo? I recall Chase, Jordan, Robby and Luke, not sure how they were recorded.

Eric lives in L.A maybe they are going to L.A and his parents will be there instead of Baltimore? IDK. but I don't think they would go Miami Detroit Madison Baltimore

ETA: how about flights Denver - L.A? I could see Denver - LA - Dallas.

Could be.....that just seems weird that they would have his family (mom,dad, I gather he has like 3 siblings, all on the east coast) uproot and fly clear across the country to LA when he grew up in Baltimore, and they are still there. For that, his family could fly anywhere in between, IMO.
