Yep. That's what I don't like about it either and why I was hoping that they would have finished filming before they aired the season but it seems like they did the same as what they did for S2 which is why I've found the editing off and sleuthing is difficult even with SCs when they are still filming because it doesn't tell the story it only tells a chapter at a time with the ending not yet written.
