So per Vanessa's story she is going to be in Montreal on Friday. I wonder if that means she isn't attending Peta's wedding?

The wedding is 7th 8th and 9th. Maybe Vanessa will return for the Saturday portion which is the wedding day.

Since they were apparently invited to this wedding, I would be really surprised if they didn't attend.

It is a 3 day wedding but are all the guests invited to the events each day or do the invites differ? Guess we'll see what's what no idea

I do think the wedding will be unlike anything I'll ever be invited to. Sounds lavish & extravagant. :yes:

Maybe N & V will just attend the wedding on Saturday. I can't really see Nick going without Vanessa. Maybe the three day event is just for their closest family and friends. no idea

Three day weddings are the custom in Europe. Friday is bridal party, friends, relatives. Cooking outdoors, open grills, large tables, activities for kids. Saturday is guests, family friends, traditional wedding. Sunday is huge lunch brunch for everyone.

The tradition is to bring both families and friends together.

I have Slavic bloodlines and if it's a large traditional wedding it is as you've written. Sunday often also includes gift opening. Not all guests participate (some just visit elsewhere) but the tradition is for a few children or siblings to bring gifts one at a time to the bride or couple who open each then each gift is past around for the participants to see. Each gift is recorded in a book and the book is then used to send perso nixed thank you cards.
It doesn't happen that often anymore. A bit of nostalgia.
