Bachelor Australia - Season 5 - Matty Johnson - Media Social Media - *Sleuthing Spoilers* #3

No she's by far the front runner at the moment by media and edit IMO. 
Tara is very much the fan favourite. 
And Elise is the underdog. 
All JMO.

To me, Laura has gotten a Nikki on speed edit (a more favourable edit than Nikki). Only Nikki was way more likeable. And to me that has nothing to do with edit. Nikki proved that she was an absolute beauty in her interviews and social media.

@Billysmom....first I like Laura but I see it differently. Laura is not being targeted unfairly by the media IMO. She has actually benefitted IMO especially her TM business from the OTT media coverage. The media are not the ones not warming up to Laura IMO. It's the audience based on information form the show's SM platforms that have been posted on this forum. Also as I have said and others have as well have said, the kind of media coverage Laura is getting is similar to what both Heather (Sam W's F4) and Nikki (Richie's F2) received. The only difference here is that the general audience loved both Heather and Nikki. *EDIT*

Regarding Laura and Elora, based on IG they seem to be close at least post show IMO. They both live in Bondi and some of us based on BTS sleuthing even believe they could have hung out post show before. The Now To Love mag saying that Laura and Elora didn't get along is suss to me, wonder if Jen was their source on that since she seems to not like Elora re "her scum of the earth comment".  IMO not all the information in these mags are correct, as an example regarding Matty's ex Nat Darcy's coming in as an intruder this season is false information yet Now To Love, NW Mag and DM all printed  this as fact just last week....jmo.

I understand that SM audience can be unfair and harsh, but I have no idea how, when F&W play a game of "Who Would You Rather" and literally say Laura is better than the other girls that the media is painting Laura as an underdog? From the media's perceptive, Laura is the most obvious F1 I've ever seen. #colormeconfused

IMHO, there are no examples I have seen of the media treating Laura unfairly.

IMHO, there are no examples I have seen of the media treating Laura unfairly.

I think the media is unfair to all contestants depending on one's POV but so far I have not seen any media where Laura is the underdog. The media has never used that phrase with Laura at all. She's the frontrunner and winner according to media.

It's SM audience that are not warming up to Laura and posting such. Same as me as a viewer and with my posts. I haven't warmed up to Laura. Doesn't mean I think she's a terrible person or whatever and doesn't make me a terrible person either for my opinion.

It also definitely doesn't make Laura an underdog to me either just because SM isn't warming to her. Neither do I feel sorry for her since she has a ton of media support and support even for her business and far more than other frontrunners imo. jmo

Always the chance there was this jealousy in the house, but they got over it and bonded when neither of them ended up with him

It's been discussed before as a possibility and tbh I can believe it. I can totally buy that Matty and Laura had met before in Sydney. This season has felt suss to me from the getgo

Yeah, sorry I can't remember who sleuthed it that both Laura & Matty go to the Icebergs a lot so maybe there is some credence to this particular story that they may have met there before. The other report that came out that AAL mentioned that we had discussed before was another story that Matty had hung out with Laura, Jen and maybe a 3rd girl before at a party in Sydney....I am not sure if that one can be backed up but this Icebergs one is plausible IMO.
