@GuardianAngel apparently Van’s mom noticed the same thing you did, in episode 3 he mentions his mom gave him crap for speaking over Rachel and it won’t happen again .

You can see Rachel at times bursting wanting to say something but by the time she might be able to get a word in edgewise, he's gone off to another topic and almost rambles a bit. IA with his POV, just give Rachel her air time as well.

Currently listening to this and it’s refreshing how Rachel and Becca are having the tough conversations especially the lack of diversity in bachelor nation and the Garret stuff. Proud of them.

This was great. Love that Rachel doesn’t make it easy on anyone not even Bryan. They discussed how there have been times they watched movies that depicts racial injustice and Bryan was being naive and ignorant and she called him out on it like why are you not getting it.

OK, I think it sucks that she says there is a reason why Mike wasn't chosen...other than his race. She implies that there was something during his background check that excluded him from the running, but she doesn't know what. There was absolutely no need for that. In an effort to promote a lead of colour, she kind of threw Mike under the bus IMO. Now people are going to wonder and you know they will go digging. Unnecessary.

Redemption - everyone of us has benefitted from it when someone accepts our apology or if we have learned and changed and pay it forward. I have no doubt that IF Mike had something come up in his background check, then he's learned and become a better man. For the past several years, he's shown me who he is and I'm still a fan.

The headline is for click bait. She did not throw Mike under the bus. She just said she asked why he was not chosen and was told there was a reason. IMO the reason is they wanted Peter period.
