His friends list is hidden but he works for channel 9 as a marketing/promotions coordinator and seems to do Perth Social Media for the Sydney Swans... lives in Claremont WA.

Seems like he could be a credible source.

It looks like it was posted on the other girl's Facebook though... so it would most likely be her birthday, not Brooke's.

Sophie may have won ratings but was a failure when it came to her lasting with her F1 and faked a relationship imo.

Nick if he dumped his F1 or is now single will also be a failure in the relationship success of the show.

Still, TEN cares more about ratings than they do relationship success though so I would expect more Celebrity leads in the future.

If that's the case, that's fine but I won't be interested. I think once TPTB went into Celebs for leads they jumped the shark. I miss the old days of this show

While I don't mind Nick, I do wish they would stop with the celebrity leads. That said, I don't see why anyone would expect a celebrity lead to be more successful in the show relationship than anyone else would be. I generally expect the relationships to crash and burn post show and am usually surprised when any of them make it. That applies even more for the celebrities.

That's where I got the original tweet from, yes, but it was pointed out to me that it was actually a screenshot from Facebook, that he had taken, and then tweeted.

That's what I thought too, @stoneleigh.    And if the girl's birthday actually was two weeks ago then it's probably legit and recent enough to be considered current IMO.

do we really think that she would take any risk after 4 months (less than 1 week 1/2 before the finale) to take any picture of any kind that would jeopardize her contract with TEN?

Like this guy who said that brooke dated another footy player. Or this rumor that she was dating Jamie Lee. Both officially denied by Brooke and one by Jamie Lee too. Which is funny because she does not do much interviews at all so those must have been authorized by TEN/prods IMO

Again, this is the time of the season where many want spotlights. People know that they can receive good $$ via DM.

It is again funny that some will take DM gossips/rumor at face value for some of their article and other days they are mocking them big time.

Every season on every franchise we have last minute "scoop" and those are 99% debunked at one point. I think this one is no different.
