Oy vey!  Clare as the Bachelorette.  Not sure I can watch her for an entire season. She is so dramatic.  I'm sure TPTB casted her for a reason though...ratings and they will probably throw her under the bus a few times.  Good luck with that.  Hey, maybe JPG can be a contestant again!  Es okay.

Clare mentioned on GMA she has dated younger guys when asked about the age thing. She does not post a lot on SM so it's hard to say what her personal life is all about other than working at the salon.

I agree, I'm excited for Clare too!  She will be a hot mess, and not necessarily  in a bad way, but she'll just lay it all out there.  I really hope they cast more age appropriate men for her.   And even if you're not a fan of Clare, at least she'll bring a different dynamic to the show, anything would be better than all the 22 year old's and their drama.   We'll have a more mature drama

Unfortunately, I suspect we will have the same drama, just with older people and that will only make it worse. It's bad enough if a 22 year old acts stupid, but when it's someone older it is even sadder and more uncomfortable.

Agreed, people will always be dramatic or immature to some extent no matter what life phase they are at IMO. There I was, thinking that drama belonged to high school, but life has proven me wrong. They will be able to squeeze out every ounce of drama possible, whether it's an inexperienced fresh graduate or a 40-year-old divorced father of two. I am open minded about how these new demographics will pan out and for the first time in a while I am truly indifferent about the pick of the lead which might be good - no expectations whatsoever.

Fun fact: Australia had a 37 year old Bachelorette in 2017 It was its highest rating season of the entire franchise

Yes, but she was a well known celebrity...and funny. Clare...not so much.

That's on par with our filming schedule. I would think they are doing some pre filming in her hometown this week/next week.
