@Norcalgal I couldn't view that outside of the US but I'm wondering if it's the same as this. I read an article the other day about the "Fairy" but there wasn't a vid. I found this vid just now. Magical story for sure!

Yes - same story. I keep forgetting that YouTube isn't available in Canada. Would that also apply to Sharlene's blog if she moved to You Tube?

@Norcalgal youtube is available in Canada, it's when whoever uploads it puts a block for other countries due to licensing rights. Usually ABC I can't view on youtube. That link you provided was CBS and yet I was able to find a link from their own site which I can view.

It’s the same with Canadian shows and CBC, @GuardianAngel. I’d love to watch some Canadian shows but can’t.

@albean99 yes good point, same for us with US shows. Very annoying sometimes. TLC is the worst! I cannot get to a TLC USA site, it automatically takes me to the Canadian site,

I don't know if you can tell, but certain sites only allow viewing in the US...although not everything. Most of the American tv stations only allow viewing if you are in the US. That is why I have Hotspot Shield and just switch my IP address to whatever country they are blocking me from. That is why I can watch the Bachelor NZ or Australia live...if I want to get up at 4 am. There are other sites that allow you to do the same, but I find this one to be the easiest and safest. You do have to pay after the free trial, but for me it is worth it.

@Norcalgal like @Sprite says, there's no warning until we actual go to the link. It's the same the other way around, if I were to post a link not knowing it can't be viewed outside Canada.

It's no problem though. If I really want to view it I will search for another link like I did with the Fairy vid. I used to use Hola but I think they changed something and it wasn't working for me. I haven't tried it recently.

Bachelor Ukraine and some of the other International franchises, had links that were viewable which was great.
