I happened to see this old article for the first time and thought it was interesting. I don't remember Chris hiding Peyton's identity but I guess he didn't want it to get out in the media. Chris Lambton and why he turned down the Bachelor

@albean99 I’ve been our of the loop traveling for the past month and just saw your post. Really interesting article that also missed.

FYI, we did see one of Chris’ brothers at a Dennis restaurant last month. Not sure which one but my daughters and I didn’t hesitate a bit…he looked so much like Chris, only shorter!

I missed that post, what a guy. He is so down to earth and just a normal hard working family man.

I didn't know he wasn't happy they didn't talk much about his teacher job when he was on Ali's season, but obviously we know TPTB like to focus on the saddest events in contestants lives.

I was on a small board that season where someone was personal friends with the family.  She would tell us some good tea at the time.  One thing I remember is that he turned down what at the time I think was the largest amount of money anyone had been offered.  This was before I knew about Peyton, but did follow their meeting which was arranged by Jesse, a cast member who was on BIP with Peyton.  Gia had rented a house in the Hamptons and a group, including Chris and Peyton (after they had met) stayed for a long weekend.  I think this is where love bloomed.  They are probably my favorite couple from the franchise and Ed is my favorite parent.

Sweet sweet family, they have always been so humble and hard working. I love that they keep up the tradition of having Lambton Bloody Caesar's on Xmas morning like his Mom used to to.

I just think it fits, pavalygurl.    They're definitely my favorite couple from the franchise. I love how they quietly fell in love and made time for each other from a distance. Others could follow their lead.

10 years????? Oh my gosh, how could it be that long ago.

@GuardianAngel Adorable! And we hike at the same place which is both nature preserve and a beautiful beach. But our winds have been crazy here on the Cape this past week so not surprised they looked wind whipped!
