Just read a few posts about Jimmy but my first thought may be he'll be more like Tim, the first Bachelor.

Seems like a family guy which is good but I don't love the modelling background or the dating Bella. Still seems smart and nice enough so will give him the benefit of the doubt for now!

The bold surprises me; no spec maths or physics?  I thought it was much harder than that to become a pilot.  Explains how Pete managed it guess.

Can you share a little more about your life outside of work and flying?

I live in Palm Beach with my wife Susan, who is an organisational psychologist and our business manager. My son James is a pilot with Jetstar and a part-time model. One of my clients saw him and said he had to contact her friend at the modelling agency Chadwicks. My daughter Tahnee, who is also an organisational psychologist, married a beautiful Spanish boy. They recently moved back to Australia after living in Barcelona. It’s a pretty good life.

None of the family looks camera shy, I'll say that. Mum and Dad would have been ready for their closeups IMO.

Also just pointing out that all the articles/interviews which came out today are suspiciously lengthy and informed; IMO the media were tipped off about Jimmy (and his social ~ connections ~) ages ago.  

I'm also convinced the pap pics and "accidentally overheard" details about Sierra are a deliberate set up by TPTB to get early buzz for this season.  Makes me not want to sleuth anyone just to annoy them.  

I totally understand this impulse, I'm sure this forum's existence validates the more PR-thirsty contestants in their search for fame.

I understand why he was picked, he seems Bachelor-worthy for several reasons but honestly I'm a bit at him being connected to past contestants at all (never mind which ones).

I know it's a small world in Australia and even smaller if you're talking connections just in Sydney, where production is based.

I'm sure TPTB will force him to keep a few around till the end so the audience can tell the finalists apart but yeah, I'm betting F1 will be blonde.  This show has already proven that some guys are attracted towards women who look just like mothers (looking at YOU, Matty J!). It's all very Freudian.

Speaking of betting... I'm off to check if Sportsbet have anything to offer us yet...
