Dan had anything but an ordinary childhood: growing up on a boat from the age of 9 until he was 17 and sailing around the world with his parents and sister. He was homeschooled until his mid-teens before being enrolled in a Spanish boarding school. The true test for Dan is having his love interest interact with his family, and having a special lady accompany him on his worldly travels.

Very interesting indeed. Living on a boat seems very adventurous. I hope he makes it long enough for us to learn more about this time in his life. I have always been curious about living on a boat getting to travel to many different places by sea.

It will be interesting to see his interactions with the other guys. Being on a boat for 8 years may not provide someone with great social skills.d

I wonder why according to his bio, the true test is having his love interest interact with his family.

For some reason yesterday that IG name wouldn't come up, but now it does. He has some amazing pictures from different countries. The second IG is for a travel company he owns but no recent posts. The third is the name of the sailboat.

Well from his pictures he seems to be social. Maybe when he was younger it could have been an issue for him. As an adult though perhaps not. Either way to me, living life on a sailboat is a great adventure to talk about with others. I bet he has been to some amazing places.

@GuardianAngel He really is OMG. Even in his outfits on the show he is quite Dapper, but yes so nice seeing them in 21st attire :-)

I rewatched some of the scenes and episodes .. Nicole has mentioned that her fella attracted her from the beginning .. and wouldn’t be surprised if it is Mr Hunter .. he is part of the woodwork in epi 1 .. literally not shown except for reaction shots and 2 second in the moment shot .. no conversation shown at all between them .. in other episodes he stays in the background quietly .. yet she is also shown recognizing towards him often and he responds with a wink or a smile .. they do find each other in a room .. it’s like production is hiding him and he is a not a drama or confrontational guy .. BUT in one scene where she is somewhat reminiscing she says that during their date “he stole her heart” .. so could well be that he is in her final 2 at the very least .. if not her final choice
