I'm on my way home after another wonderful trip with @the_her_initiative to #Guatemala and as I look forward to my comfortable bed after a nice warm shower, I can't lose sight of these beautiful girls and their stories. Many lose the joy of being a child while they work in the sugar and coffee fields or take on the responsibility of a parent -like an 11 year old who cares for her three siblings. They don't have the same luxuries you and I may have like clean water and food for each meal or electricity and the ability to get proper medication. I can't wait to see how the new @healingwaters system impacts the lives of not only these girls but the entire community.
