To travelling the world with millions of fans, and singing and speaking in different languages, to this:

I'm so proud of these guys. Wonderful humble young men who never let their fame get to their heads. I've been following them since they were 14 yrs old.

To those members that grew up in the 90s, I'm sure you are familiar with Chris Cornell of the grunge era. Amazingly diverse voice that headed up many iconic songs. RIP.

Memories of my son playing his music, over and over along with Nirvana and Pearl Jam. Far too young. May he rest in peace

One of my favourite shows back in the day. RIP Adam West. I think this is when my interest in sleuthing started. Smiley

I loved watching this show when I was little. It was up against Lost In Space and we would have fights over which show to watch. One tv and long before the days of recording show! Oh the drama! RIP - Celebrities - News - Discussion - Page 21 2292733854

sad His time has come.

At the end of that final tour which was broadcast throughout all of Canada, live, he said "have a nice life" which I added to my signature line. What a guy, just an amazing talented humble man.

Tragically Hip's Gord Downie dead at 53

Canadians learned of Downie's illness on May 24 last year — the same day the rest of the rock group, Paul Langlois, Rob Baker, Gord Sinclair and Johnny Fay, announced that the Kingston, Ont.-based band would head out on a final summer tour "for Gord, and for all of us."

The final concert, in Kingston on Aug. 20, 2016 was broadcast by CBC.

I feel sad.  RIP Gord.   I was touched at Justin Trudeau's (our prime minister) emotional speech this morning.
