Don't get me wrong, I still think he looks hotter than the average bear in this picture, but there is something missing here. To me, what adds the sex appeal is the look of love in JP's eyes that permeates his whole face when he looks at Ashley. I've been saying this all season, and then to my surprise, even his mother told Ash JP looks at her with love in his eyes!

This is a girl he was photographed with last summer at a party (I'm posting a recent pic of her). Maybe just friends.
But she looks very much like Laney. And has dark hair.

I also think part of the difference is that JP has gained some weight and has bulked up a little. In pre show pictures he looks a little on the scrawny side-- total opposite of late show / post show pictures. Isn't working out one of the past times that the guys do while they pass the time away? I think that is what I heard...
