Bachelor 21 - General Discussion - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

I heard they really wanted Chris Lambton but he turned them down repeatedly, Kasha.

I heard that, too, but that does not mean Chris ever even gave them an inkling of a "yes". I don't think he did and TPTB held out ridiculous hope. I heard Brad was well compensated as he did not want it, either.

I love Wells, but don't see him as the Bachelor

I remember that season well. I was on a private board where an admin was a family friend and gave us lots of I think family approved intel.

That's what I heard too. He turned them down, word was that he was unhappy about how his family had been edited, focusing so much on his Mom. They would up the anti each time and were supposedly offering him more than had ever been paid to another lead. There was a charity golf event on the east coast while BP was airing and they sent Peyton and the guy she was shown to be having a thing with on BP (Jesse?, the kid from Kentucky or Tennessee and ChrisL. I think ChrisH was sent to close the deal with ChrisL. That was where Chris met Peyton and it was the begining of his life with her and the end of his relationship with TB.

I loved that Peyton met Chris just as CH was trying to close the deal. Kind of a sweet karma. Now look at them, waiting for their baby's birth and happy with a show of their own. Two good souls and my favorite couple to come from this franchise.

  I remember all that so well and it's my fav Bachelor behind the scenes story ever.  I will always adore Chris .

ETA - that would have been my only Bachelor that I had a major tv-crush on so I was bummed to miss out on a season of him, but obvs turned out great for him.   Luke isn't a guy I was crushing on, but prob is the one I can most as totally lead material.  I think he'll really knock it out of the park as Bachelor. JMO.
