That is the sweetest Kasha. 
The bond between grandparents and grandkids is so special. I didn't get to experience it growing up but I'm grateful to live close to my parents. My 4 yr old spends quite a bit of time with them and it allows me to focus on the baby and get some rest. Don't know what I'd do without them!

How did I miss the new posts in this thread! So funny!
Yes IA grandparents love is so special. I was fortunate enough to meet all my grandparents before they passed.
My father took me to Italy when I was 9 yrs old. My grandmother on my Father's side is who I'm named after. I will never forget arriving late at night, it was so dark, old, spooky looking I was so scared. It was the first time I was going to meet her and my grandfather.
She had arranged for family members to send her Lipton's chicken soup from Canada, because she knew I liked it. She made it for me, and just the smell made me calm down. I remember those 4 weeks we spent there, like it was yesterday. She was adorable, loved her so much.
When I went back a few years ago, I took pictures that were taken, with me, and took new pictures in the same spot. We were lucky enough to go to that house, it's still in the family.
My grandfather passed in Italy, my grandmother came to Canada to live with her kids. I'm lucky she is buried locally and I can visit her often.

What incredibly special memories.
I was so lucky to raised with all 4 grandparents close by.
I was very close to my own grandmothers. So much so that I chose to work with the elderly most of my life.
Warm fuzzy feelings.

My cousin's little girl turned a year old yesterday, sweetest little girl who loves to smile. Her older brother is 10 and she LOVES him. She just started walking and she follows him everywhere.
