Solutions to problems come in different forms.

^^ I get what you are saying and I think the problem is too much CYA, unnecessary testing and drugs, but that is another subject for another time and place.  Get on your anytime; makes things more interesting.  As for the opioid crises, some of it is caused by the doctors themselves.  JMHO.

Forms, especially those from the IRS, can be very confusing.

How did medical providers cause the opioid crisis? The govt mandated pain as the fifth vital sign ~20years ago and that it needed to be addressed. It was classified as subjective and the patient had to be believed. Patients developed really creative ways of deceiving the providers. I am not excusing those of us who did not do their due diligence, but I am saying the documentation review had a field day back then when supposed complaints of pain were not adequately addressed - according to them. Finally now, we have certain safeguards in place and pain is no longer a mandated fifth vital sign.

Confusing IRS forms make income tax really difficult to file especially if you are itemizing.
