So he is building his own place and he showed it to her and asked her to help him a little bit. During that time Lida asked him what she means to him and he answered if she doesn`t feel it by herself?! He said you are the first woman I showed my home to. Then he invited her to choose a kitchen. He said that on their way there he felt like they were husband and wife on their way to choose a kitchen for their home.
Lida is in panic she is saying that she is scared. The whole dimension of that situation weights in on her and she is overwhelmed. Dima is thinking now that she is not ready for a serious relationship and wanting to let her go.
