Just my opinion/interpretation, but I think he means that by "losing" to Josh in "winning" Andi Nick was able to eventually meet Vanessa. The notoriety/exposure from his F2 finish helped keep him front and center in Bachelor land where after a couple more rough goes, he finally met Vanessa during his season who from all we've seen so far checks off many if not all of his wishes in a partner. I didn't even notice Josh replied though I saw some people refer to it which confused me but then I remember I am blocked by Josh laugh out loud

I had that same interpretation! but didn't know it was the right one bc Josh replied and I don't know how "that's the truth" for Josh bc he got engaged to Amanda and then split???
