I can't either but as I posted some time ago - IMO even if a lead knows the games that get played but they want the experience badly enough (no matter what their reasons are) they may think "well, that won't happen to me" right up until the time that it does.

If someone is too smart and too well prepared to resist the mindfreak, they don't get cast in the first place. IMO

Nobody wants her to fail, but she knew what she signed up for, so...or wait, she probably doesn't know...YET. Mark my words, people will turn on her just like they turned on Arie. Happened with Ben. Happened with JoJo. This is no different. Becca is not exempt from TPTB shenanigans. All they care about are ratings and people talking. JMO.

People turned on leads like Ben and Jojo for like 40 seconds. *IMO* Then they went back to being fan favorites and having the highest followings in social media for their respective gender. I think people really exaggerate the backlash. Yeah, all leads have a couple of rough months, but for the vast majority of female leads, it is very short-lived and they emerge from the show richer, happier, in love, and with career advancement. Someone like Arie? He's going down in history as one of the worst, not because of any edit or shenanigans from the show, but his own actions. Incomparable to Becca, who does not have his history of cheating, lying, and manipulating. IMO.

I think what disappoints me most in the blaming of Becca, the picking apart everything she said or did, or speculating that she's going to get it when she's lead, is that it seems to be used as a way to absolve or diminish Arie's actions, imo. Arie did what he wanted to do and that's on him, imo. Of course he shouldn't have proposed to her. I did see a connection between them early on while unspoiled but then we didn't see much so I wasn't sure if she was the hidden f1 or not. Lauren was basically non-existent for the time I was unspoiled so I had no idea that she was even in the mix. We later saw their connection but it's not like Becca was with them on those dates. How was she to know that Arie was had a greater connection with Lauren? The cast has to have an open heart as much as the lead does and also has to push past the fact that there are others there. He seemed believable to me when he proposed to Becca so again, I can't blame her for not knowing. You can't accept a proposal from someone if you don't think they're sincere, imo.

I hope that we can move on at some point and enjoy (or not) Becca's season and let Arie & Lauren ride off into the sunset of Arizona.

Brad 1.0, Jason, JPG. Two out of those 3 are happily married now. They were all dragged and hated, IMO for quite some time. 
Jen S., Deanna. Both hated IMO for quite some time. Both happily married now. 
I can not foresee the future with Arie, but my gut tells me he will make it through this.

Depends what is "normal" to us? ... Those who go on the show have 1 thing in common: they all want to be seen (I don't say "famous" because there are different intents with the exposure they all are seeking). TV is the best platform (SM helps, but it's secondary for the unknowns) to reach the following/audience quickly ... so it has its own price. Those who sign, pay ... but depending on one's foresight skill the amount does vary. Loopholes exist.

The vast majority of Bachelors are not currently married. Out of 21 Bachelors, it's what, Jason, JP, Bob, Bryon, and Andrew that are currently married? The odds ain't good, IMO.

Wow (Lauren quote), I think Becca is well liked because of her personality.  She seems sincere and I believe she is.   IMO, If she is "turned" on I think it will be because she sends a fan favorite (s) home.  That seems to be what sets off fans and it happens every season because people get attached and may feel they know who is best for Becca, who she should pick.

The point I was trying to make and apparently failed was there have been cast that were dragged and hated for years. All of the ones I mentioned, IMO. They have all gotten past it and are happy. IMO

I agree! No matter what, this is a silly reality Tv show and they'll get over it! I think that's what makes the "oh...Becca better watch out because the bus is coming for her!" even more ridiculous, because they're all fine. More than fine. IMO.
