Here is the thing. Do I think 2 people with different political ideologies can be married? Of course, absolutely. Case in point my mom who is liberal, and my dad (and later step dad) who are both conservative. The problem is that in Becca and Garrett’s case, they both appear to not just be political, but passionately Political, in opposite extremes. That’s how it can get tricky with personality conflicts imo. I am also passionately political at times, and someone who is passionately political on the opposite side of the spectrum would be a deal breaker for me.

Except I doubt Becca is all that feminist despite the marches and insta posts. She wouldn’t have chosen a guy with such set ideas of manhood which no doubt translates to how he thinks a relationship should be between a man (manly man of course) and a woman imo. In general, the louder an Ette screams, “I’m soooo f$@/ feminist,” the bigger the douche she chooses imo

I actually do think Garret's personality is probably more similar to theirs (he doesn't really seem like the super alpha type), so I probably would have been into the final couple if it weren't for that minor tiny little detail of him being a bigot.
