Aucklander Mac Mataia is hoping our Bachelorettes are ‘bored’ of the current crop, and he can bring some new flavour in to the mansion.

He’s looking for a down-to-earth and independent partner, who will laugh at his jokes and doesn’t mind a good yarn over a Piña colada.

Are you nervous to come into the mansion as the ‘new arrival’?

There are mixed emotions about it, as the guys have already formed a good bond with the Bachelorettes given the length of time they’ve had in the mansion. I’m not quite sure how they will take having a new group of guys coming in and trying to vie for that piece of true love. I’ve got mixed emotions, but maybe the Bachelorettes are ready for some new blood!

How do you feel about there being two Bachelorettes?

It feels weird, but it does give you the opportunity to find out which Bachelorette you have more of a connection with as they have different styles, personalities, hobbies that potentially fit what I’m looking for in a partner.
