kaitlynbristowe If I’m being honest, I’ve been having anxiety the last couple nights. Nothing specific, just worried about a bunch of little things that are out of my control.
I caught myself caring what other people were saying about me.. People who DON’T actually care about ME. How ridiculous right?
I lost a little sleep, and I even got annoyed at irrelevant BS on social media. I allowed it to ruin part of my day.
My best friend reminded me that it’s Insatgram. Not a real moment. It’s fleeting.
I took a few deep breaths, put my phone down, and got lost in my book. (best feeling ever). Just wanted to share, that even though I am the happiest I’ve been in a while, I’m still human. We all are.
I still have my moments, my doubts, my worries, my anxiety. But as long as I continue to have self compassion, GRATITUDE, and self love, I’ll continue to grow.
This is a pic of me I took the other day because I was feeling comfortable in my own skin. I had just finished days of full glam, photo shoots, and filming. And loved having a fresh face.
I often have to remind myself that I actually feel sexier like this, than I do dolled up and in edited glam shots. It’s social media that sometimes warps my thoughts of what’s beautiful. (Being done up is beautiful too). But what’s REALLY beautiful is happiness. And overall, Im pretty f*ckin happy. #Realstagram PS PLEASE SHARE YOUR BOOK SUGGESTIONS. I can’t believe how much I enjoy reading.

beccatilley last night i was having one of those nights. Scrolling on Instagram, comparing myself, comparing how many likes I had... and I was in a MOOD. I let this stupid app (that I also love- it’s a complicated relationship) put me in a BAD MOOD. But it’s fine- I acknowledged how ridiculous it was and addressed myself with positive words and got over it. But here’s a photo of me- in honor of the #realstagram Movement from @kaitlynbristowe. No makeup, big t shirt, binge watching Dexter. I’ve eaten so much chick fil a and mcdonalds that I’m prob gonna turn into a nugget soon. Anyways, love y’all. You’re all wonderful and unique and I’m thankful for each and every one of you!

Kaitlyn Bristowe - Shawn Booth - Fan Forum - General Discussion - #6

I just remembered something from K's podcast with her mom that's kind of important. They talked about what Kaitlyn was like as a teenager and said that she was awkward and very concerned with what other people thought of her. It was so bad that she wouldn't use the vending machine at school or even eat her lunch because she didn't want to draw attention to herself and have people watch her. She also suffered from terrible OCD. She'd have panic attacks if she felt her breathing wasn't normal (in breath was shorter than her out breath) and she stopped skiing because she couldn't stand it if she had more layers on her legs than her arms. Her mom apologized and said that she wished she sent Kaitlyn for therapy as a child, but you just didn't do that back in those days. For me, it just shows why Kait's involvement with Raw Beauty and creation of the #realstagram movement is so close to her heart.
