We can only hope that this was set up: JP didn't get the coin toss date so that he can ride in on a white horse at this very moment. TPTB knew that the Bentley Drama was going to go down this epi, so they planted JP right after - Mickey would never have worked at this moment. See? It makes sense, and Ash didn't have a clue in her SQT last week with JP when she told him to just wait... doubt not, all ye fans of the shaved head and big smile...
