'Bachelor' star Courtney Robertson reveals to Life & Style that she's date Arie Luyendyk Jr., who was the runner-up on Emily Maynard's 'Bachelorette' season.
When Bachelor finalist Courtney Robertson and Arie Luyendyk Jr. were first spotted kissing at a restaurant in Phoenix on Oct. 11, Courtney insisted it was a onetime hookup. But now Courtney reveals to Life & Style that she and the latest Bachelorette runner-up have become something more.
“Yes, I’m dating Arie,” the model tells Life & Style. “We’re enjoying our time together.”
That, she says, is a welcome change from her relationship with her ex-fiancé, Ben Flajnik, “I was miserable with Ben; he treated me so badly,” Courtney says. She had planned to move to San Francisco to be with The Bachelor star, “but he was all like, ‘I just turned 30, and I’m not ready,’” says Courtney.
It’s been only a month since her engagement to Ben ended, but Courtney insists she never planned to move on so quickly. “I didn’t want to jump from one public relationship to another,” she admits, “but Arie and I get along, and I’m not going to let that get away.”
Courtney tells Life & Style that she and Arie, a race-car driver, have been secretly spending time together, and he stayed at her place in LA in November.
“Arie makes me laugh so hard, and he’s adorable, so I’m going with it,” Courtney raves, noting they’re not dating exclusively yet, but she’s not sure she could find a better guy!

Earlier today, a new report claimed that Bachelorette runner up and racecar-driving hottie Arie Luyendyk, Jr. was writing a tell-all book about his life. Arie’s own manager even confirmed the news, while the story speculated Arie had tons to spill, including what really went wrong between Emily Maynard and the man she picked over Arie, Jef Holm, with whom she recently split.

A hot read? You betcha. Unfortunately, we’re not going to get our hands on it anytime soon. Wetpaint Entertainment spoke exclusively with Arie, who confirmed he has no plans to write a book — and never did.
“I’m not writing a book, a memoir or any other sort of written piece,” Arie tells Wetpaint Entertainment. “And in terms of the Jef and Emily part of the story, that’s extremely false. I would never do that to them.”
“I’m not sure why my manager was quoted in the story,” he continues. “But it seems to be a big misunderstanding. There’s no book. There never was.”
You heard it here first – straight from Arie himself. Bummer that our hopes for a juicy tell-all have been dashed, but good to know Arie’s still the stand-up guy we’ve grown to adore!
