They don't have to release SCs so what they choose to show is interesting and also what we don't see. That they gave us both Chris & Drew in 2 dates each seems to indicate that they're the f2. If that was all there was to it I doubt we'd have gotten so much. Brooks leaving and more importantly him possibly coming back makes sense of why we're not seeing him on dates plus why they seem to be giving us the outcome. They don't usually serve it to us on a platter. We have to work for it so I think what they're not showing is just as important as what they are.

But isn't showing him leave in tears and then no SC or scene in promo not serving it on a platter if he is really leaving? Reverse psychology I guess, but too me they are almost trying too hard not to show him at all!

That's how it seems to me.

`Out of left field` would is her picking Brooks over the 2 guys that she had left in the end (assuming here both Chris and Drew are there till the end LCD and ring picking from SC evidence).

This could be after he left on his own at some point OR she had actually eliminated him at some point previously.

Its never been done before and ties in with both des and the guys feelings.

I love in the dinner video how he refers to them as a "we". He asks where are we at? And I think we're jogging. For a guy to use "we" I think shows in his heart and mind they are together and both moving towards love together. I just love him.

Right! I guess I am having a hard time seeing how he leaves if he is talking like that...yes he is little behind Des in the "love game" but not so far behind that I can see him just blowing things up 2 weeks later by telling her is he unsure of his feelings. The real test will be HTD. If Brooks' Mom questions him on how he is feeling and encourages him to slow things down and not rush the process. Or tells him he should not propose. Trying to figure out how he gets from possibly from jogging down to skipping or stepping?!

I think Des' obstacle will be her fear that she loves Brooks more than he loves her. That has been her pattern of love choices throughout her life. That's why the other guys might threaten Brooks' chances. But in the end I think it will be a matter of her not loving the guys as much as she loves Brooks. She won't just settle. I bet she was willing to walk away ala Brad1 if there was no hope for a Bres. ITA that "outta left field" is choosing the "emigma" and not the sure thing.

Just to add to this...my thoughts have been that it would be Brooks leaving/returning, but perhaps, Des does let him go b/c she's afraid he doesn't care as much for her. She may proceed on w Chris and Drew.. and then either Brooks returns on his own -or- Des tells prod she's not going to choose any of her F2 and asks if they can get Brooks back???

I posted the same Jillian season scenario in the F1 thread a few days ago. It's basically a Reid but it works at the end. (And I still totally think CH talked Jill out of it.) Funny enough there was even a great video made that season with an overlay to the ending of The Notebook. Actually there were a bunch of great vids made - my hats off to those who can do them!

The "we" could also be interpreted as "you and I" rather than "you and Chris" or "you and Drew". In a multi-suitor situation, each relationship is different. In real life, I agree the "we" shows more of a commitment. With all of the storyline questioning right now I am sure that Brooks fans are dying to believe that his "we" is significant.
