Bachelor Winner Whitney Bischoff Is "Casually Dating" After Chris Soules Split, Reveals Her Ideal Type

Wading back in. Season 19 Bachelor winner, Whitney Bischoff, revealed to Us Weekly in an exclusive new interview that she is "casually dating" after splitting from her fiancé, Chris Soules, this past spring.

The Chicago-based fertility nurse, 30, was joined by franchise stars including Nick Viall, Josh Murray, and others at the Bachelor and Bachelorette Thursday Night Football event at Tacos & Tequila at the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa in Cabazon, Calif., on Thursday, Oct. 9.

"Yeah, I’m just casually dating," Bischoff tells Us of her post-reality TV romantic life. "I don’t know that I have a specific person that I'm looking for. I think that in general it’s someone who makes me a better person, makes me happy, makes me laugh, and shares a common interest, so I don’t know if there’s a big stereotype with that."

Bischoff and Soules, 33, called it quits this past May, two months after Bachelor fans watched the Iowa farmer propose on the finale in March. Soules also spoke to Us Weekly earlier on Thursday about dating, and revealed that he and his ex are still on good terms.

"We’re still friends and we catch up regularly," he told Us of Bischoff. "She’s doing great."

Bischoff echoed those sentiments while chatting with Us on Thursday night. "I think that it’s important that we maintain our friendship and I love that we were able to end things cordially," the blonde beauty tells Us. "We went through something very unique and I think that we’ll have a friendship for the rest of our lives."

Meanwhile, another question related to her ex has been circulating on the Internet. Fans wondered whether there was something going on between Soules and his DWTS Season 20 castmate Rumer Willis, after the two were snapped hanging out courtside at a Knicks game in NYC on Wednesday.

"I didn’t see that," Bischoff tells Us of the pics. "She was a great dancer and I had a lot of fun watching both of them dance, but I don’t think that there’s anything more there."

Soules, in fact, confirmed this to Us directly. "Rumer's a great friend and obviously she lives here in New York City," he told Us in his exclusive interview. "And we were invited to come to a Knicks game by a friend of ours, mutual friend, and had some pretty cool seats right on courtside. So while I’ve been here working with the National Pork Board I was able to have a fun evening with her and enjoy the game together, so it was cool. Good to see her again. I haven’t seen her since the show, so it was fun to hang out."
