What kasha said.    Did you watch "Unreal?"  The first episode illustrates very well how forced and manipulated what the producers want us to believe are "spontaneous" "In the  moment" responses really are.  They are manufactured soundbites to tell a "narrative"

^I didn't, I haven't even had a chance to watch the most recent b'ette epi yet, but I'm definitely not naïve when it comes to "reality" shows...so much stuff is scripted. I watch for the man candy and the travel porn, with the added bonus this season of the lead being someone that makes me laugh.

I think the show lost all hope of seriousness once they gave the men the two bachelorettes and let them choose.  No wonder Clint wanted her to come to him - that was the first episode, after all.  Although kissing her to continue his relationship with JJ creeps me out, whatever the producers are trying to make of it.

I think Kaitlyn is ok, but I don't believe her saying "I think my husband is in this room" like I mostly believed it from Sean or Andi on their seasons.  Just about anything is better than farmer Chris's season, however - the dates were terrible, he was about as exciting as a moldy log and the romance and feeling of something building was sidelined by manufactured drama.  

This season there is similar drama but at least the dates have some interesting concepts behind them and not all the men seem like idiots.  I think boxing was grotesque, but I liked the sumo wrestling.  It would have been a fun idea, but unfortunately, we got to see Tony freaking out about it instead of the other (potentially) more interesting men.  

I like Ben H, Jared (though he is not appealing to me), Joe, Shawn and Chris.  The others I could leave.  It is a noticeable and unfortunate change to not have as many 1 on 1s so far.  Kind of undermines the romance the show used to at least pretend to be about.

Not excited about Nick coming back.  Mostly because I liked Nick.

I think Joshua is a really decent guy. Kaitlyn doesn't appreciate him. He would make a great husband.
