Lauren Bushnell - Bachelor 20 - *Sleuthing - Spoilers* - #5

I don't ever think the Bachelor bio's look anything like the actual contestants. The photos of her on SM before and after are the same person. I think she gained weight during filming and curly hair/humidity issues, but has taken it all off and looks exactly like she did before.

Lauren reminds me of Portia DiRossi..JoJo looks like Isla Fisher/Salma Hayak to me.

the photos proves how it works in general for everyone IMO - I feel like most people look different while taking selfies comparing to their candids (including myself ) her selfies do give off an attitude vibe, but fan pics and pictures from her sister and friends look different. overall I prefer Lauren in motion as she comes off more friendly to me there. If I only saw her selfies, she may have been less likeable for me.

I really don't know what someone has to look in a selfie. Big smile when it's just you? Even that would look weird imo. She has thinner lips so it could make her look stern or even sullen. With Jojo for example, she's mostly posing while someone takes a pic, so she emotes differently. Mo

I think it's the posed, closed mouth smiles in lots of people's selfies that are just so much less flattering than a big old regular toothy smile.  IMO.  Lauren is adorably beautiful when she smiles a big, full crinkled nose smile. When she does that I hope it's the real-life her shining through because I was expecting to love that girl, but then most of what we got to see was an overly serious, monotone, almost sullen girl to me who doesn't seem that wildly into Ben, JMO. Maybe she just really hated the process and it showed through to me. I find her to have two quite different sides, so I just can't get a read on her still at the end of the show.

Lauren definitely gained The Bachelor 15. But she still looked great. Now she looks like she has taken it all off and pretty much looks like she did before she went on the Bachelor. As for the hair, maybe all the comments about her having bad hair or seeing how her hair looked prompted her to get extensions. Maybe.

I will say this though. I'd much rather take a selfie and have selfies floating around on social media than candids or pictures with other people . I guess I'm shallow like that but at least with selfies, I have direct control over how the pictures come out.

I'm confused. JoJo's insta is practically nothing but selfies. How can this be a put down directed just at Lauren?

^^^definitely!! My husband and I joke that thank goodness we are still married. If taking selfies is how you find a mate, I have yet to take a good one of the two times that I tried.

It is just a way different generation although neither of my teens are much into taking them, probably 60-70 percent of friends do all the time.
