THE Bachelor’s Richie ‘Cool Bananas’ Strahan appears to have taken a note out of Aussie songstress Olivia Newton John’s book and is trying to get physical with the girls vying for his attention.

Strahan and his bevy of single beauties departed their temporary Glenorie home to participate in a variety of sports activities at Sydney Olympic Park’s Hockey Stadium while dressed in tight-fitting, figure hugging workout wear.

The 30-year-old rope access technician held court while giving instructions to eight of the women vying for his heart, while the besotted babes looked on.

I went through Sam Wood's season and noted single dates + when his top 5 made appearances on group dates so we can possibly get an indication about Richie's top 5.

Episode 2: Sarah - 1st SD + 1st GD (photoshoot) - Snezana, Heather. 

Episode 3: Snezana - 2nd SD + Madeline 3rd SD.

Episode 4: Heather - 4th SD + 2nd GD (beach) - Sarah.

Episode 5: Nina - 5th SD + 3rd GD (sport) - Snezana, Heather, Sarah

Episode 6: Triple 6th SD - Jacinda, Bec and Ebru

Episode 7: Emily - 7th SD + 4th GD (country) - Snezana, Heather, Sarah, Nina

Episode 8: Snezana 8th SD (her second one) + 5th GD (car racing) - Nina, Heather

Episode 9: Bec 9th SD + Sarah 10th SD (her second one)

Episdode 10: Heather 11th SD (second one) + 6th GD (eating in the dark) - Snezana, Nina, Lana

That's it until hometowns. If Richie is the same as Sam, the girls who get the first 4 dates will get close to or make it to hometown week. They also make many appearances on the GD's. There were heaps of 'filler' girls on Sam's season too so many girls were kept for a while despite not being legitimate contenders.

I think I counted 10 girls on the group date -
1. Multicoloured top - SD1 girl (not sure though)
2. Green top/long black pants - Alexandra Nation
3. purple top/long blue pants - red patterned dress girl from DM rainstorm photos
4.peach top/long black pants -SD2 girl
5.orange tshirt/black hair - Dark Brunette girl
6. yellow tshirt/short black pants - floral top/jeans girl from DM rainstorm photos
7. red singlet/short black pants ?
8. pink top/white long pants/pink socks ?
9. pink top/black pants ?
10. white top/black shorts - possibly polka dot girl

Does this seem correct?

Definitely seems to be 10 girls [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] well spotted I wonder why the article said 8? If they miscounted it makes sense but if that is what was stated by media group they got the pics from then it could be misleading intentionally or something else (I mention this because diimex media stated there were only 10 girls remaining when captioning the pics of girls carrying luggage so it seems that is incorrect). It also may indicate they are filming on weekends as well since it was Sunday (if that info is correct on diimex).


So as previously speculated this is a GD with possible same 10 girls from DM pics of the girls with luggage.  So team activity as speculated before and maybe winners dress up for after event with Richie like they did last year S3?

Summary of what is in NW mag this week:

NW magazine has new photos of Richie on a date (not sure if SD or SQT) at the InterContinental Hotel in Sydney's Double Bay taken on March 29.

Richie is with a blonde with darker roots who looks like Alexandra the single mom but not sure - it could be someone not seen yet (maybe even the girl [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] in white singlet on activity date). They have a pic of Richie kissing (the girl is doing most of the initiating as her hand is on the back of his neck. This would be first pic of Richie and a girl kissing so far. The photos look like they were taken with a really long lens and are a bit blurry.

And if Richie is kissing Alexandra at that hotel, he has pretty much had single dates or one-on-one time with all of my least favourites now - first Keira, then Kirralee and now Alexandra.

Labeled her as the "long light brown hair girl" and then different outfits in comparison.

I am starting to wonder if filming of the soccer date was not the same as the luggage pics of the girls... They may just be many of the same girls since it's a large group date but if not all girls the same then possibly a different day...

I'm getting lost now. I wondered yesterday why they had suitcases but if they were coming to Sydney (SCG) for the soccer date perhaps they stayed the night? I'm also getting lost on the single dates, are we up to 5 now? More than one a week??? Perhaps you are right AAL and they are not all SDs. Although they seem to be

I'm getting really confused about the dates as well but here's a possible scenario: 
The intercontinental Double Bay hotel is only a 25 minute drive away from the Olympic Park hockey stadium. Maybe they all packed because that's where they're staying after that date. The girl spotted kissing Richie in NW ([You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] posted on this) could have been the person awarded one-on-one time for standing out on the GD (so not an official SD). OR: they could have been at the hotel beforehand and are heading back to the mansion after the GD ends.
It would explain the luggage and Channel 10 might do product placement for the hotel to get cheaper accommodation rates

I'm thinking when the show airs there will be a lot more one-on-one time "dates" that occur after GDs or when a team wins or just time spent away from the group but not actual SDs (meaning no actual date card given to the individual) so the media may be saying SD when it is only SQT (Special Quality Time - I recall for SF's season, Michael got SQT but never actually got a SD card ever).

So it could be that any "dates" or pics seen of Richie and only one girl may not be a SD (with a SD card). The show always has a lot of these SQT dates/moments so it will be hard to differentiate from SD until the show airs.

Until the show airs, spoiled pics/info about GDs will probably be more reliable for the timeline however it may be useful to make a note of any one-on-one time as possibly a SD or SQT and then try to match it up which is which when the season airs?

This article indicates that the rain downpour was on Sunday and that Alexandra Nation looked 'made up' as a contrast to the other girls
