You're welcome @KB_Mom. I think there's quite a few people who would benefit from that seminar! For whatever flaws Caila has, her graciousness and positivity in dealing with all of this has been refreshing and IMO is what demonstrates her true character.

I love how almost maternal Sharleen seemed while talking about Caila on her recap.

It's still tough to discuss Ashley without it morphing into a conversation about Ashley and Caila. I’ve seen many comments directed at me and other members of Bachelor Nation about picking sides or vilifying either woman. First, I can’t emphasize enough how delicate being on the other side of all this is. In person, Ashley is funny, smart, self-deprecating and knows full well the role she plays in this franchise. In person, Caila is as sweet as you’d expect, but also generous, perceptive, and an epic conversationalist. (I’ve had more real—not even close to “fake”—conversations with her than I’ve had with some friends I’ve known much longer. And on the topic of what exactly “fake” means, I highly recommend this Huffpost article on this very saga.) When you know these people personally—and have never had any issue with either—can you really be expected to point a finger based on how they appear on a heavily edited television show?

I also especially liked her saying that Ashley is the queen of staying on TV longer.

both Caila's HTMF interview & Sharleen's article. I admire Caila's ability to be so articulate in general & so diplomatic about the situation while still conveying truth (context, game of telephone, trust etc). I also love Sharleen emphasizing Caila being generous, perceptive and an "epic conversationalist" & that she's had more real conversations with her than with some friends she's known much longer - that she calls those conversations "not even close to 'fake' " - I feel like this, coming from someone as IMO rational, intelligent and level headed as Sharleen, speaks volumes as an endorsement for Caila's "realness" from a popular BachNation member ... all framed in positivity without resorting to mean girl style SM shading. Smiley

^^ Yes, I love that Sharleen highlighted that! Sharleen said the same in a previous interview, mentioning that she adored Caila and had the best conversations with her.

Check out After Paradise S2:Episode 4.

Around 26 minutes in, a deleted scene is shown from Caila. During the interview, she says that she is pushing people away.

Statement 1: Refers to "My full self."
Statement 2: "My Real Self."

She says she isn't showing those to people. If people are saying she's fake, this is as close to a confession a person can make, without realizing it. And during the episode, she admits to contrived smiles as a self-defense mechanism.
