@mprssdbyu I remember when Nick's mom asked him if Andi made him laugh, and his response was, "she makes me smile." I think (and I'm hoping) Vanessa may be the one to make him laugh.

I like that she just smiles. No duck lips or weird faces. Just a natural, genuine smile. I hope it stays that way.

She's gorgeous! She seems so natural and down to earth and fun. I can't wait to watch her with Nick as I have no doubt just from what's been sleuthed so far tthat their connection will bounce off the screen

When I went through her Instagrams I had the same feeling about how compatible they could be. She really does have an infectious smile but also looks like she can be fiesty at any given moment which I could see Nick just loving.

I almost feel bad for her. What if she doesn't meet all these great expectations?! I don't remember a spoiled f1 getting this much love so early on here . She seems universally liked for now.

Well some have expressed being bored by her and even hoping this might be a foiler season, so I wouldn't say she's universally loved but I kind of see your point. I just think on paper and from the small glimpses we've seen of Vanessa that there doesn't seem to be anything glaringly offensive about her, which has help made her so likable. And the fact is, because she's the rumored F1, she's going to get a lot more scrutiny and attention than some other contestants.

However, she really does seem like a fairly normal person at this point. I also think some are particularly excited because there was some hesitation and concern if you will, that this "new, famewhore" Nick would likely pick some 25 year old model. And instead he picks a 29/30 year old special education teacher from Montreal who speaks three languages and seems very laid back and normal.

It seems almost freakishly perfect. But hey, people have made sense on paper and not worked out. Also, yeah maybe some may end up not liking Vanessa as much after the edit. That said, I'd be surprised if her biggest sin during the season isn't simply not being interesting and exciting enough for some viewers.

Unpopular opinion, but I think she's overhyped right now on this forum. She seems okay to me, but...not seeing what everyone else sees with her. I also think that RS is probably right and nick/Vanessa are having issues. IMO.

As you know, it's members options to post their opinions. Therefore if there is a majority that like the contestant, based on what they see, it may be overhyped to you, however opinions are not to be questioned.

RE RS. What makes you think he is right? Is there any proof to make you beleive they are having issues, because I personally am not aware of anything that has been mentioned in the tabloids. But I'm sure now that RS has stated so, it will make headlines. I hope it's his trusty sources that are feeing him crap, to make him look like the fool that he is. IMHO of course.

My only doubt about Vanessa comes from RS episode 1 spoilers, he basically said Vanessa and Corrine were so sure that they will get the first impression rose.

No proof, just a gut feeling based on what nick has said about his past significant relationships - one being an off-and-on 7 year relationship and the other a "very immature" engagement that lasted for a "minute". I just think nick falls in love very quickly, but sucks at the actual relationship part. The fact that he's in LA and (allegedly) looking for opportunities and the tension of being apart just adds to that, IMO. I would love for him to surprise me though!

Definitely not questioning anyone else's beliefs or anything...just stating my own. IMO.
