Bachelorette Canada - Season 1 - Jasmine Lorimer - Episode Discussion - *Sleuthing - Spoilers* #3

Watching this now is really enlightening.  I am gonna go into Nick season with a different attitude.  I wont say who I think is the final one until last minute. All I am stating is only my opinion and is taken as that and nothing more in this fantasy story. To me yes it is real life for them, but it is fictional for me.

I agree - the contrast was striking.  They had the opportunity to show KW in a more positive light with the editing, or at least put less 'ominous' music over his footage, but this is the way they chose to present the final 2.  Could all be misdirection if Kevin is F1, but I am doubtful they would go for the "bait and switch" with the very first Bachette season.  If they do, I predict backlash.

IA. Watching Jasmine's face and reaction when the guys were reading the fantasy suite cards was very telling too. With Mikhel she was all smiles, leaning towards him and looking at his face but wih KW she had a quick smile, leaned back and gulped her wine.

Is that what it's really going to come down to though? Which one she thinks is kinder? I'm sure she considers KW kind too or he wouldn't be in her F2. JMO.

Once again I'm going to take what Jasmine says with a grain of salt and a gallon of water to wash it down. This is a show, the show must go on. Not over and out as KW might want it to be or hem and hawing as Mikhel does.

Remember, lovely Jasmine had said great and wonderful things about both guys. She ALSO said great and wonderful things about beloved Mike. I mean, really great wonderful things.  Maybe some that she didn't apply to the F2.

So to the F1, good luck and here's hoping you can laugh at yourself. Have confidence in knowing she meant what she said but chose you

Absolutely.  And reading you describe it that way, it just struck me how truly bizarre it is that the Lead is invited/expected to spend a "romantic" night with the F2 (whomever he is) just days away from presumably accepting a marriage proposal from F1.  

Can you imagine if this was standard courting procedure in real life?!

Agree.  Also the fantasy disagreement was her asking him for support.  Would she even care if he was not being considered for F1.  Also she did not have to say that they had an amazing time after he return to the fantasy suite.

They have left that in specifically to show good guy, bad guy IMO. Hell who knows she may have told him more in depth about the home town date and the way his mother treated her and instead of defending and supporting Jasmine, perhaps he supported his mother.

Kevin served our great country & got a war medal commemorating his bravery & dedication to making the world a better place. He also literally puts his life at risk to save & help others as his life's work. If those facts alone don't demonstrate kindness, I don't know what does (IMO).

What I'm trying to say is none of us know these guys.  We are basing our impressions on a heavily edited Reality Show that is made to make us think that one is an Angel and the other is not.

Have you noticed that Mike was the best guy that ever lived, and fans ran with that as being true and now that's he's gone Mikhel is the best.  This is from TPTB, doesn't that make you question why they are doing this and is this all really true.  I bet none of these guys would admit that they are the angels that they are being portrayed as.  Now I would not say they are bad guys because I don't know them but I would not say that Kevin is either. JMO

Along. Why keep the negative things the Jas says about Kevin and including her ITM about the argument in the FS when all of it could have been cut and shown KW in a much better light. So what are they trying to show us exactly. That he is the F1 but has mommy issues, argues a lot with her particularly when things don't go his way and walks and can be over confident and cocky and looks like a ladies man but hey she picked him anyway??? The issue with this show is, they are not just selling romance, they are selling the happily ever after fairytale with a proposal at the end, so if KW is F1, for the love of it, show us the possibility that they have a shot in hell in making it and hes not going to walk out when things get tough. Because right now, that's the story they are selling IMO.

I don't see kindness separating the f2 because it's in Jasmine's eyes and I imagine she's seen it in both guys. I think we're to the point in the season where these kinds of clues are fun to look for but aren't usually definitive. Maybe there will be a SH pic or something else but doubt very much that it will be something Jasmine says or "likes".

I'm still leaning towards KW being the f1 but there have been a couple of things that could point to Mikhel. I like not knowing for sure.
