It would be a twist if they weren't.
There was 1 interviewer who asked Nick how important it was to have his parents approval. He answered that he was a 36 year old man so the decision was his however of course he would hope they would like her. Your question reminded me of that interview. It was done post-filming but sheesh, I've read/watched so many so I doubt I'd be able to find it again.

Isn't it always part of the LCD, to meet the parents? I admit I haven't always been a regular viewer so I don't know how many seasons they may not have done that.

I can't imagine that they didn't fly the whole family. Gosh, mom has waited so long for this moment in Nick's life. They shipped Brad's whole crew to Africa. Will Nick be as emotional as Brad was? According to screen caps filled with Mesnick moments, I can only imagine his reaction to finding comfort in mom's arrival. I'm trying to be patient but I can't wait to see the final days of his journey if Vanessa's Instagram is any indication!!!

I think Sharleen would be friendly with most contestants. She's a nice person and she needs info for her blog, especially for the fashion choice. So my guess is she reaches out to most, if not all, of them. Jmo.
Nick and V haven been quiet on sm for the past 24 hours. Fingers crossed they are meeting up.

Vanessa gets a lot of the "If she doesn't end up with Nick, I want her as the Bachelorette" comments. I don't recall seeing so much of that with the spoiled F1 except maybe only with Emily from Brad's season.
