Ben Higgins - Bachelor 20 - Discussion

I think that video is disgusting and Ben is a big idiot for posting/promoting it. But it's okay, Benji, sweetie pie, honey doodle bug, still love ya

I don't get why Ben shouldn't be judged for his ig likes? I'm assuming he watched the video. And he liked it. He didn't see anything wrong with it? Then I for sure will judge him. Jmo

He can be judged for his likes and as always we'll have differing opinions on what it means or doesn't mean. I don't even think he watched the whole thing. Probably figured it was a couple making out, double tapped, and kept scrolling. A like for me isn't equivalent to posting / promoting something. That's enough Ben defending for today though

@bleuberry that's cool. I'm just one of those people who takes her 'likes' seriously. I like only things I agree with. And I'm assuming he watched the video, because, well he liked it. Jmo

Yeah, as much as pains me to defend Ben, it's not like he filmed that video. He probably saw a few seconds of it, saw an old couple making out in public and thought it was cute that they were still into each other. I doubt he thought about it any more deeply than that. JMO.

But this reminds of me something. I listened to the most recent podcast because Becca was the guest, and at some point Ben started telling a story (not sure why) about how he bumped into some female fans in New York and they were being super friendly until he said something stupid about Mexican food making him "blow out the sheets", meaning fart I guess, and they suddenly seemed totally disgusted by him. Apparently he woke up the next morning thinking "why the hell did I say that?", and seems like it was still bothering him since he brought it up and was basically looking for validation that it was just a funny comment. I thought it was such a perfect example of how much Ben cares about other people's perception of him. He was kicking himself because he accidentally disgusted two random fans with no sense of humour. It must be exhausting to be Ben.

Rob Mills, ABC's wonderfully candid Senior Vice President of unscripted programming, appeared on the Ringer's podcast Bachelorette Party yesterday to talk about Rachel's season, and the conversation turned to who the next Bachelor will be. Interestingly, Mills floated the idea of Ben Higgins starring again.

Ali as much as I didn't like her as the 'ette, then later warmed up to her, she is still IMO a minion. Hence her name dropping on her blog.

Hopefully Ben will be one of the three they usually dangle that carrot in front of their faces. I wouldn't be surprised if Ben is ready and packed, just in case.

Ugh. I think that would have to be the first season I would have to skip.

I might watch Ben 2.0 solely to snark on him.

I'd love this so hard and laugh sooo much, especially when he chooses LB 2.0. It's even too much to hope for imo
